Hands of Freedom is a registered 501(c)3 non-profit organization focused on helping the poor of India through micro-lending, fresh water well projects, education and savings groups. They came to us for an updated web presence that was modern, mobile-responsive, and better aligned with their current focus and goals. We implemented a new WordPress theme, and updated the layout and information architecture to better highlight their areas of focus and present clear calls-to-action for the variety of ways that people can get involved, including attending events, volunteering and donating money. We also made use of their rich library of photography to better tell their story, incorporating large, full-width imagery through the site. We leveraged the content syndication capabilities of WordPress to automatically send site updates through email and to their social media channels.
